Excellent Product
These briquets do exactly what they say and I recommend them.

We have had the greatest problem having BBQs this past year. I don't know if was the humidity or what but I just couldn't get the briquets to light or ash over. No matter how much lighter fluid I used it just wasn't working. I had given up on charcoal briquets.

However, I decided to try this product and it works as advertised. It lit immediately and ashed over in 12 minutes. In 14 minutes the coals were ready to spread out and I was ready to cook. There was no lingering lighter fluid smell at this point.

I must warn that when they are ready, you need to be ready to cook because they get quickly to their peak and will burn out earlier then other briquets.Rich
Works as advertised
Pros: easy lighting, fast burning, hot coals, complete burn
Cons: none

Initial burn took about 15 minutes (as opposed to 10 min per instruction). There was no chemical aftertaste in the food after cooking. Instructions said to use no more than 3 lb. of briquets, but proper cooking took the whole 6 lb. bag in the size of grill used. These briquets are recommended for easy usage with no lighter fluid.Realist20
Good price
I usually use Kingford, but wanted to give this a try since it is almost half the cost. It lit up with no problem and no funny chemical smell. Did not use lighter fluid just started with a sheet of newspaper. As advertised on the bag I was good to go after about 15 min. Really gave my hamburger's and hot dogs a nice flavor.Ace
