Excellent Grill
Spent a lot of time researching our grill purchase. We chose the Cuisinart 5 burner mainly for appearance and value. Assembly was as expected - great instructions and excellent parts labeling. All parts seemed to be well made. Wife polished all Stainless parts with stainless polish prior to use. As per instructions, we heated for 15 minutes prior to use. Cooking was perfect. Even cooking, no scorching or burning. Knobs and handles did not overheat for us, as other reviewers have stated. Love the cooking window!LisaG
Cuisinart 5 burner 3-in-1
This is my initial review. I've had this grill for 4 days. That's definitely not enough time to know how it will last long term but I will tell you what I know so far.
As of now, I am very happy with my purchase. Assembly instructions were very easy to follow and the grill went together in about an hour to hour and a half. I took my time and enjoyed putting together my new grill.
I chose this grill based on my price point, size of the grill (5 burner) for the money and the griddle. The smoke tube is a nice bonus but not a deal breaker for me. I also appreciated the weight of the lid. It appears to be well insulated. Only time will tell how that holds up.
I seasoned my grill by turning all 5 burners on high and leaving it there for about 30 minutes. You could smell the oils burning off and there was a little smoke. After about 30 minutes I shut it off, let it cool and then coated the grates generously with vegetable oil. Next, I fired it back up and cooked some jalapeno poppers and NY strips. The burners all cooked evenly. While cooking I found the viewing window to be a nice addition. I can look in on the food and don't have to open the lid, therefore not losing any heat. The first meal on my Cuisinart 3-in-1 was a huge success.
Next I seasoned the griddle. First I rinsed it off, just to get any solids from casting off of it. I brought it up to about 350 degrees and held it there for 20-30 minutes. Then as it cooled off I coated it with vegetable oil. Once cool I fired the grill back up and cooked 1 pound of venison sausage on it. Once that was done, I cooked enough pancakes on it to feed a small army (I have 3 kids). Not once did I have to oil the griddle while cooking the pancakes. They never tried to stick. Once again the viewing window made looking in a lot easier; not having to open the lid and losing heat. I really do like this feature. The sausage and pancakes were yet another success.
Like I said in the beginning, only time will tell how this grill will hold up. I'm optimistic, with our dry climate here in the Texas Panhandle, this grill will last for many years. I will just have to wait and see. All I can say for now is the features on this grill (viewing window, griddle, large cooking space, smoke tube) make it seem like a home run. I definitely recommend this grill if you are looking for a lot of features at an affordable price.Ryan

Great Bang for your buck!
Great grill for the price. Hot even cooking. I love the added smoke tube. Great for some offset smoking or just to add some extra flavor to your normal grilling recipes. Heavy duty and well manufactured. I even just did a brick oven setup with some foil wrapped bricks and the walls and a pizza steel i had and used the included cast skillet that comes with grill as a roof to the brick oven. It made some killer pizzasJake
This grill is AWESOME!
The grill has so many features that are amazing for the price, like the glass front with temperature gauge, the true cast iron grates, the cast iron griddle that comes with it and many more options. We are daily grillers and this is a great size and very functional grill.DailyGrillers
Weber better pay attention!!!! Wow!!!
This is an incredible grill! I've owned Weber's in the past and they were good, I don't have a bad thing to say about them. However, this Cuisinart has all the bells and whistles plus some! It's heavy duty and you can feel the quality build. It's built as well if not better than a Weber. It held 250 degrees to smoke ribs the entire time of 4 hours and cooked the ribs perfectly! When I grilled the steaks, it held 600+ degrees like it was it's job! Not a single flare up!!! I'm thoroughly impressed. I didn't know I needed glass window on a grill until I had one. Where was that window all my life?! That saved me from having to open and close the grill to check on the food. Brilliant feature! I love this grill and would highly recommend it. And the price is a bargain given the quality. I'd pay $700-800 for this grill and still feel like it's a great value. Well done Cuisinart!!!!!!!
Well built!!!
My new motto “why cook inside when i can grill!” Ive had the grill for a week and have grilled 4 meals so far. So far i am veey happy with the grill.

It took roughly an hour to build the grill although very simple and kudos as they used the same bolts throughout. Ive been plenstly suprised by the effectiveness of the smoke tube and cast iron griddle!

The grill has cooked evenly and the side burner has been useful as well. Overall I think this grill will hold up well!

Only thing i wish were different is i wish they used the stainless steel grates like in the 4 burner vs the coated gratesMikeMcW
Good grill, but screws are too tight. Needs upkeep
The grill itself works well and the cast iron components seem like a great idea, though there are clear draw backs if you don't maintain your grill regularly.

The major problem with the grill is that many of the screws we're machined way too tight. I was able to get most of them loose using a wide flat head bit and a drill, but there was one screw that stripped completely with the philips screwdriver I used first, then cracked in half when I tried to use the drill after that failed. I wound up having to use an extractor to try and get the screw out and that worked, but it was so tight that it left indentations on the grill and the extractor bit had to pull the screw all the way up before it would come out - I doubt I will get that off ever, so I will have to buy another bit.

Overall, grill is easy to use, easy to assemble, but the manufacturing process left several screws way too tight and they damaged my tools.Charles
Poor Quality
Had a dent in the front panel and 2 ignitors wont work. Sent pictures of the large dent, serial numbers, and receipt to the address shown in the papers received with the grill but never got a response. 15 year replacement on the burners was a big item to me but if they won't answer questions on a new grill, what will 15 years down the road bring?tjt
Cuisinart Grill
I received this grill fairly quickly but was extremely disappointed at the condition in which I received it. There was not ONE panel or piece that did not have a severe dent, crimp or broken. I will say the customer service (once I figured it out) was amazing and they are sending me a new grill.Diapers
