Best Tabletop Grill
I have used the grill 4 times in the past week and it has more than lived up to my expectations. I really like the build quality, and the look. The grill gets up to 550 degrees in about 10 minutes, and does a really good job of maintaining a high temperature. My inch thick porterhouse steaks were perfect with superior searing marks. Kabobs, burgers and fish all came out great. I would recommend keeping it as wind protected as possible, as wind can effect temperature retention (this should be done with any gas grill). I especially like the porcelain enamel coated cast iron grate. I keep my grills fairly clean, and I do a burn off after each cooking session (aluminum foil over the grate and 10 minutes at high temp, lid closed). It keeps the cooking surface in great condition. Some reviews have not been kind to this grill, but I think that may be due to unrealistic expectations, or grilling ignorance. That being said, you can always get a lemon, no matter what product you purchase, so good luck, and happy grilling!Gbald
CUISINART + GRILL = PERFECTION
This grill lives up to the Cuisinart name. It is a grill that was taken seriously by its designers. Love the grease drip cup and ease of cleaning up afterwards. This grill comes with shelves on both sides of the grill....and when you are finished, the shelves simply slide away, which means less room requireds when storing or traveling. Unlike many grills of this size, Cuisinart included a nice heavy grill rack and the cooking area size is very generous. Heat is evenly distributed, which makes the entire space available for cooking. The first time we used the grill was on a day that was windy, very cool, and misty. From box to cooking took only 20 minutes. My husband commented that the flame was "perfect" and "nice and consistent". Cook time was spot on. We have an expensive pellet grill and I have always been a bit apprehensive to use it plus it needs to be pre-heated before using This Cuisinart grill makes me feel at ease and I have used it numerous times. Instructions for lighting are listed on the top and very self-explanatory. Sleek design. I love this grill. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]nanmac

Grillin' is NOT just for Men, ha!
I'm a 65 year old women, though the package was not heavy, it was cumbersome to carry, so I needed help getting it into the back yard. There wasn't much to assemble, but what there was, was very easy. I liked the fact that I could easily pick it up and place it just about anywhere, out in the yard, top of picnic table, driveway, etc. It lit right up and after setting the temp on high for 5 minutes I cooked turkey burgers. I would have liked some kind of "cooking guide" or "recipe book". I had no idea what temp and how long to cook my burgers, so I set it to medium, about
400 degrees and eyeballed them when they looked done. I sprayed one of the burgers with an olive oil spray, the other I did not, and put both directly on the hot grill. I liked the sizzle sound I heard...as you can see from my photos, the one not oiled, stuck to the grill, the other came off perfectly. Overall I plan on using my new Cuisinart Tabletop Gas Grill regularly, gonna try pizza next. The size of the cooking surface is perfect for me and I liked the tray "wings" that easily swung to the side of the grill to hold my spices and spatula.
